Flowery Branch junior left-hander Nikki Harris recorded an amazing 17 strikeouts from the pitching circle in 4-0 win against Northwest Whitfield to open play in the Class 4A state tournament in Columbus. 

With the win, the Lady Falcons will face Heritage-Catoosa in the second round at 11 a.m. Friday.
