As was the case with the All-Region 8-4A boys soccer team, the All-Region girls team was also well-stocked with Hall County talent when it was released Tuesday.

Cherokee Bluff was the most represented team both within Hall County and overall in the region with 11 total players on the three different teams.

The Lady Bears, who wound up as region runner-up and advanced to the second round of the Class 4A state playoffs, were led by three juniors – forward Kaitlin Cook, center back Carson DeMars and central defensive midfielder Anna Gessner – all named to the first team.

Johnson, which placed third in the region this season and qualified for the state playoffs, placed eight different players on the team, with the Lady Knights’ Lizabeth Rivera and Abigail Menjavar earning first-team honors.

Other Hall County players earning a place on the first team were Paola Alvarez of North Hall, Abbagale Budd of Chestatee and Gaby Rosas of East Hall.
