The Family Life Center of First Baptist Church in Gainesville is holding the ‘Be Grateful 5K and one-mile Walk/Run’ at 8:15 a.m. on Sept. 25 at the Midtown Greenway in Gainesville. The race will be held in memory and a celebration of life for former member Kelli Pirkle. The cost to participate is $20 for the fun run and $30 for the 5K run/walk.
