The Gwinnett Braves, behind six scoreless innings from starting pitcher Todd Redmond, beat the Buffalo Bisons 6-1 in game one of a four-game series on Tuesday night in Buffalo, N.Y. Stefan Gartrell had a two-run home run in the first inning to give the G-Braves an early lead. Redmond picked up the win allowing only seven hits and one walk in his six scoreless innings, striking out four. Game two of the four game series will be at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday night in Buffalo.
