Gwinnett Braves first baseman Barbaro Canizares connected on a three-run double in the sixth inning as part of a 13-6 win against the Rochester Red Wings on Thursday at Coolray Field in Atlanta. It is Canizares’ third consecutive game with an RBI.

G-Braves starting pitcher Jose Ortegano allowed three runs and only one hit in 4 1/3 innings. In his second consecutive outing in relief for the Triple-A G-Braves, Christhian Martinez earned the victory. Canizares (3-for-5), catcher J.C Boscan (2-for-4 with a HR) and first baseman Freddie Freeman (2-for-3) drove in three runs each.

Gwinnett set a season high for hits with six hits in the seventh inning, with all three RBI leaders in the game getting a hit in that frame. New OF Nate McLouth went 2-for-5 with a leadoff homer.

Gwinnett plays host to Rochester at 7 p.m. tonight at Coolray Field.
