Chris Rearick, a right-handed pitcher at North Georgia College & State University, was named a Rawlings/American Baseball Coaches Association Third-Team All-American last week.

Rearick went 9-2 on the season with 99 strikeouts and a 3.20 ERA in 14 starts.

He is the third baseball player from North Georgia to earn All-American honors, joining Brian Lauderdale (2006) and Rob Flanigan (2008).
