The Wednesday Dogfights at Chicopee Woods Golf Course first place team for the best three net scores was that of Ron Melin, Charlie Kilby, Phil Rothermel and Steve Noah (-29).

Tied for second was the team of Joe Roberts, Vince Jonte’, JJ Jonte’, Rick Reed and the team of Tommy Calhoun, Jerry Horton, Henry Komoto and Yoko Komoto (-18). Individual net scores are as follows: First in A Flight Individual Net was Joe Roberts (68).

First in B Flight Individual Net was Charlie Kilby (66). First in C Flight Individual Net was Phil Rothermel (65). First in D Flight Individual Net was Steve Noah (61). Second in A Flight Individual Net was Tom Bolton (73). Second in B Flight Individual Net was Roger Stapp (68). Second in C Flight Individual Net was Wayne Strickland (67). Second in D Flight Individual Net was Rick Reed (68).

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played an individual points game on Thursday. In the first flight, there was a tie for first place between Don Gage and Jack Costello. Third place was Bill Oliver and fourth place was Don Gardner.

In the second flight, there was also a tie for first place between Jim Van Dyke and Don Sorrell. Third place went to Karl Goellner with a tie for fourth between Chuck Keith and Larry Cohan.

In the third flight, Dave Long took first place with a three-way tie for second between Jim Carroll, Johnny Little and Larry Smith. Fifth place was Doug Hutson. Closest to the pin winners were Charlie Chamberlin (No. 3 and No. 5), Bob Pyne (No. 12) and Don Gage (No. 17).

The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played the Chestatee Golf Course this week. First place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Jerry Johns, Larry Miller and Doug Van. Second place went to the team of Daryl Dunckel, Joe Roberts, Randy Gordy and Cleve Brown. Third place went to the team of Tommy Aaron, Ace Jordan, Gene Cobb and Ken Chahoy. Closest to the pin winners were Gordy (No. 3), Jordan (No. 7), Aaron (No. 11), Tommy Lowery (No. 15) and Weschler (No. 17).
