The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played its monthly individual flighted strokes competition Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course in Gainesville.

Bill Sutton took first place honors in the white tee first flight.

Warren Jahn won second place, Bill Hardman came in third place and Bill Ingram was fourth.

In the white tee second flight, Bob Watson took the top spot and Eddie Johnson placed second.

Doug Van was third and Johnny Little came in fourth.

Harry Barnett won the gold tee first flight with Don Sorrell and Jimmy Johnson tied for second. Bob Henderson and Ben Brooks tied for fourth.

In the gold tee second flight, Robert Mallis won first place and Ron Hopley came in second.

John T. Smith won third place and Jim Hesser was fourth.

Closest to the pin winners were No. 3 and 17 Smith and No. 5 and 12 Barnett.

LUNA’S TUESDAY GOLF GROUP: The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at Chestatee Golf Course in Dawsonville.

Tied for first place were team of Rob Emerson, Nelson Wright, Johnny Nix and Stan Davidson Sr., and the team of Gene Weschler, Sam McGee, Jerry Johns and Doug Van.

Third pace went to the team of Daryl Dunckel, Tommy Lowery, Gene Cobb, and Andy Piucci.

Closest to the pin winners were No. 3 Frank House, No. 7 Stan Davidson Jr, No. 15 Weschler, and No. 11 and 17 McGee.
