The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at Achasta Golf Course in Dahlonega.

First place went to the team of Bob Norton, Tom Calhoun, Larry Dyer and Johnny Crumley. Second place went to the team of Nelson Wright, Richard Strickland, Johnny Nix and Doug Van. Third place ended in a tie between the team of Michael Gordy, Jimmy Harritos, Don Smallwood and Gerald Gailey, the team of Roger Stapp, Terry Clegg, Royce Deaton and Jerry Ward and the team of Daryl Dunckel, Bud Chandler, Cleve Brown and Jerry Jones.

Closest to the pin winners were Tom Sexton (No. 3), Calhoun (No. 5) and Nix (No. 11).

Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two best ball, net strokes game Wednesday.

First place went to the team of Don Sorrell, Bob Henderson, Ed Pledger and Johnny Little. Second place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Roy Lyle, Bill Ingram and Eddie Johnson. Third place went to the team of Jack Costello, Larry Cohan and Jere Cochran.

Closest to the pin winners were Warren Jahn (No. 3), Joe Kolesar (No. 5), Dick Bachman (No. 12) and Greg Taira (No. 17).
