The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.

First place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr, Tommy Lowery, Joe Campbell and Stan Davidson Sr. Second place went to the team of Jeff Sanford, Steve Hill, Juan Luna and Jerry Ward. Third place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Royce Deaton, Frank House and Ronnie Ledford.

Closest to the pin winners were Johnny Nix (No. 2 Mill), Richard Strickland (No. 5 Mill), Hill (No. 4 School) and Lowery (No. 8 School).

In the white tee first flight, Gary Palmer finished first, Eddie Johnson finished second, Bill Sutton finished third, Stu Virgin finished fourth and Jack Costello and Johnny finished tied for fifth.

In the gold tee first flight, John Beane finished first, Jim Hollobaugh finished second, Bob Henderson and Ben Brooks tied for third, Bill Falls finished fifth and Harry Barnett finished sixth.

In the gold tee second flight, Guy Long finished first, Milton Martin finished second, Claude Schneider finished third, Jerry Ermlich finished fourth, John T. Smith finished fifth and Rolf Legbandt and Gerg Taira finished tied for the sixth.

Closest to the pin winners were Costello (No. 3), Carlyle Cox (No. 5), Beane (No. 12) and Gene Weschler (No. 17).

First place went to the team of Jim Arendt, Bob Arendt, Gerry Brown and Steve Brown. Second place went to the team of Ricky Brown, Chris Porter, Wayne Groebli and Keith Fitzgerald.

Wayne Strickland finished first individually, followed by Grogan and Bob Arendt in second and Jim Arendt and Groebli in third.
