The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played this week at Royal Lakes Golf Course in Flowery Branch.

First place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr., Royce Deaton, Gerald Gailey and Johnny Dyer. The team of Roger Stapp, Randy Gordy, Richard Strickland and Johnny Nix finished second. The team of Dale Gross, Anthony Barrett, Grady Smith and Johnny Crumley finished third.

Closest to the pin winners were Stapp (No. 4, No. 16), Strickland (No. 8) and Deaton (No. 14).

Long wins White Tee division

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played their monthly individual tournament on Wednesday.
Dave Long won the White Tee division with Joe Kolesar placing second, John Williams in third and Gene Weschler in fourth.

Ron Hopley finished first in the Gold Tee division with Harry Barnett placing second. Milton Martin and John T. Smith tied for third place.

Closest to the pin winners were Claude Schneider (No. 3), Barnett (No. 5), Clay Bartlett (No. 12) and Bill Ramsey (No. 17).
