Gayle Gibson took first place individually and was also a part of winning team at the Wednesday Dogfight at Chicopee Woods.

Other members of the first-place team included Greg Snowden, Wayne Strickland, Roger Stapp, Dan Arthurs, Bill Jorgenson and Jerry Horton.

Bob Arendt and Jorgenson tied for second place individually, while Mike Zeigler placed fourth.

The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played a two-man team better ball match play game on Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course. The team of Dick Freeman and Glynn Rogers and the team of Roy Lyle and Richard Robinson finished in a tie for first place. Three teams finished tied for third.

Closest to the pin winners were J.B. Johnston (No. 3) and Bob Henderson (No. 5, No. 12, No. 17).

The Luna’s Tuesday golf group played this week at Hammers Glen Golf Course in Homer.

First place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr., Nelson Wright, Mark Thorton and Andy Piucci.

Second place went to the team of Gene Weschler, Joe Campbell, Norm Nichols and Jerry Ward. Third place went to the team of Michael Gordy, Rob Emerson, Al Raynes and Johnny Crumley.

Closest to the pin winners were Piucci (No. 2), Nichols (No. 2), Jimmy Harritos (No. 13) and Doug Van (No. 17).
