The Chattahoochee Men’s Golf Association played an individual flighted strokes games Wednesday at Chattahoochee Golf Course.
In the white tee first flight, Warren Jahn finished first, Larry Cohan finished second and Ralph Prescott, Leroy Harper and Doug Van tied for third.
In the white tee second flight, Ben Brooks finished first, Harry Barnett and Stu Virgin tied for second, Glynn Rogers finished fourth and Bob Watson finished fifth.
In the gold tee first flight, first place went to Bob Henderson, Milton Martin finished second, Chuck Landergott finished third and Denny Momper and Greg Taira tied for fifth.
In the gold tee second flight, Jimmy Johnson finished first, Ron Hopley finished second, Don Graff and John T. Smith tied for third and Dwight Olson finished fifth.
Closest to the pin winners were Johnnie Little (No. 3), Ben Brooks (No. 5), Ed Pledger (No. 12) and Jim Hollobaugh (No. 17).
Luna’s Tuesday
Golf Group
The Luna’s Tuesday Golf Group played this week at the Original Course at Chateau Elan.
The team of Rob Emerson, Joe Campbell, Jimmy Harritos and Grady Smith won the event. Second place went to the team of Donnie W Smith, Gene Cobb, Tommy Lowery and Doug Van. Third place went to the team of Stan Davidson Jr, Larry Miller, Don Williams and Johnny Nix.
Cloest to the pin winners were Tom Sexton (No. 6), Rob Emerson (No. 8), Royce Deaton (No. 12) and Cobb (No. 16).
Wednesday Dogfight
The Wednesday Dogfight golf group played this week at Chicopee Woods Golf Course.
All three teams finished in a tie for first place. The teams were Dave Sellers, Bob Arendt, Tim Miller and Wayne Strickland, the team of Roger Stapp, Mike Stokes, Corey Stokes and Yoko Komoto and the team of Terry Clegg, Glen Whitmire, Don Gardner and Simmie Miller.
Gardner won individually. Komoto and Strickland tied for second, Greg Lee finished fourth and Miller finished fifth.
Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association
The Chattahoochee Ladies Golf Association played a two-person best ball event Tuesday.
Paula Pilgrim and Jewell Floyd won the event with a net score of 60. Second place went to Betty Norton and Ethel Smith with 62. Third place went to Nora Gleason and Carolyn Palmer with 65.
Closest to the pin winners were Gleason (No. 5) and Sue Cronmiller (No. 12).
