The Jefferson 13-year old All-Stars fell to St. Petersburg 11-6 in the semifinals of the Dizzy Dean World Series on Friday in Southaven, Miss.

Satchel Turpin and Tyler Cole led Jefferson with three hits. Cole Edwards and Patrick Martin added two.

Jefferson is one of three teams still alive in the World Series. They must defeat New Orleans today to advance to the finals. Jefferson defeated New Orleans 9-7 earlier in the tournament.
