West Hall’s Logan Herford won the Area-2 weightlifting championship on Saturday.
Herford won the 140 pounds-and-under weight class with a bench press of 235 pounds, a 225 power clean of pounds, and a squat of 355 pounds.
Next, Herford will be moving on to the state meet in Hawkinsville on March 20.
