West Hall High principal Scott Justus and athletic director Ethan Banks named Kasey Knight the new softball coach for the Lady Spartans on Tuesday. Knight is currently the head softball coach at Greene County High in Greensboro. She earned her bachelor’s degree in physical education and master’s degree in teaching from the University of North Georgia, and was a four-year starter for the college’s softball team.
