Two area coaches were named Coach of the Year in the Region 8-A All-Region team released Tuesday. Lakeview Academy’s Seth Vining was honored as boys Coach of the Year while Commerce’s Eddie McCurley was recognized as Girls Coach of the Year.

The Lions also have two players on the All-Region boys first team in Tyler Ward and Haughton Carswell. Brittany Moore represents Lakeview on the girls first team.
