The Johnson boys soccer team is back within the top 10 of boys spring soccer teams across the country, according to Tuesday’s latest USA Today/National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Super 25 national poll. 

The undefeated Knights (17-0-1) are ranked No. 10 in the May 3 poll, which includes six Georgia teams in the top 20.

Five Georgia teams are ranked in the top 10, including top-ranked Chattahoochee, No. 3 McIntosh, No. 5 Dalton and No. 7 Lakeside (Atlanta). Greenbrier is ranked No. 14.

Lassiter (Marietta) is ranked No. 10 in the spring girls soccer national poll.

Johnson High rose as high as No. 7 in a previous USA Today/NSCAA poll, and is currently top-ranked in Georgia’s Class AAAA, according to Eurosport. The Knights play Pike County in a second-round playoff game 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

BUFORD GIRLS RANKED NO. 4 IN CLASS AAAA: According to Eurosport, the Buford girls soccer team is currently ranked No. 4 ahead of its second-round playoff game 6 p.m. Wednesday against Spalding. The Lady Wolves are 16-2 on the season.

NORTH HALL GIRLS RANKED NO. 7 IN CLASS AAAA: According to Eurosport, the North Hall girls soccer team is ranked No. 7 ahead of its second-round playoff game 6 p.m. Wednesday against Eagle’s Landing High. The Lady Trojans are 10-7 on the season.

GAINESVILLE BOYS RANKED NO. 8 IN CLASS AAAAA: According to Eurosport, the Gainesville boys soccer team is ranked No. 8 ahead of its second-round playoff game 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at McIntosh. The Red Elephants are 12-5 on the season.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS RANKED NO. 7 IN CLASS AAAAA: According to Eurosport, the Gainesville girls soccer team is ranked No. 7 ahead of its second-round playoff game 5:30 p.m. Wednesday against McIntosh. The Lady Red Elephants are 16-2 on the season.

EAST HALL BOYS RANKED NO. 1 IN CLASS AAA: According to Eurosport, the East Hall boys soccer team is ranked No. 1 ahead of its second-round playoff game 6 p.m. Tuesday against Peach County. The Vikings are 18-1 on the season.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS RANKED NO. 4 IN CLASS AAA: According to Eurosport, the Dawson County boys soccer team is ranked No. 4 ahead of its second-round playoff game 6 p.m. Tuesday against Rutland. The Tigers are 13-3-1 on the season.

JEFFERSON BOYS RANKED NO. 10 IN CLASS AAA: According to Eurosport, the Jefferson boys soccer team is ranked No. 10 ahead of its second-round playoff game 7 p.m. Tuesday at Decatur. The Dragons are 11-6-1 on the season.

DAWSON COUNTY GIRLS RANKED NO. 4 IN CLASS AAA: According to Eurosport, the Dawson County girls soccer team is ranked No. 4 ahead of its second-round playoff game 5:30 p.m. Wednesday against Central Macon. The Lady Tigers are 15-1-1 on the season.

LUMPKIN COUNTY GIRLS RANKED NO. 6 IN CLASS AAA: According to Eurosport, the Lumpkin County girls soccer team is ranked No. 6 ahead of its second-round playoff game 5:30 p.m. Wednesday against Rutland. The Lady Indians are 14-4 on the season.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY ACADEMY BOYS RANKED NO. 5 IN CLASS AA: According to Eurosport, the Riverside Military Academy boys soccer team is ranked No. 5 ahead of its second-round playoff game 5:30 p.m. Tuesday against Berrien.
