The No. 5-ranked North Hall High football team extended its winning streak to seven games with a 68-6 rout of Gilmer Friday night at The Brickyard.Trojan running back Dylon Wolf scored on a 14-yard rushing touchdown to give the Trojans (6-0) an early 7-0 lead. Hunter Wolf then scored on touchdown runs of 9 and 2 yards to extend North Hall’s lead to 20-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Lumpkin County 48, East Hall 6: Lumpkin County (4-2) kicker Ben Ayres kicked a 24-yard field goal to give the Indians a 3-0 lead minutes into the first quarter. Ken Jackson scored on runs of 33 and 9 yards, while Ken Jackson added touchdown runs of 23 and 2 yards. East Hall’s Chris Duong scored on a 25-yard touchdown pass from Desmon Garner.
Gainesville 77, Pickens 35: Gainesville tailback Kendrick Harris led the Red Elephant (4-3) offense with touchdown on runs of 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 17 yards. Harris added an 82-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on Gainesville’s opening possession in the second half.White County 35, Chestatee 21: White County (4-3) took advantage of seven Chestatee (5-2) turnovers in the first half to take a 14-7 lead entering halftime. White County broke the 7-7 tie as Warrior receiver Josh Ingram hauled in a 10-yard pass from quarterback Tyler Norman.
Johnson 34, West Hall 18: Johnson’s Josh Owens returned a West Hall (2-6) fumble for an 80-yard touchdown to give the Knights a 24-18 lead minutes into the fourth quarter. The Knights then went on to score 18 unanswered points and win The Battle of Oakwood at Billy Ellis Stadium.
Lakeview Academy 14, Pace Academy 6: Dalton Munday scored on a 20-yard run to give Lakeview (6-0) an early 7-0 lead. Munday also added two interceptions.The Lions extended their lead to 14-6 when Angus Ferguson recovered a fumble in the endzone for a touchdown.
