Scoreboard: Lady Vikings top North Hall
White County, Flowery Branch and East Hall earn tourney spots

The East Hall High softball team earned its spot in the Region 7-AAA tournament with a 2-0 win against North Hall (13-11-1) on Monday in Gainesville.

Kadi Davidson hit a two-run double to score Christina Davis and Hannah Strickland, the only two runs of the game.
Kayla McDougald picked up the win for the Vikings (8-19).

East Hall plays West Hall at 4:30 p.m. today in the first round of the tournament. The Vikings play again at 6 p.m. in either the winners' bracket against the winner of Lumpkin County vs. Flowery Branch, or in the losers' bracket against the loser of Lumpkin County vs. Flowery Branch. North Hall's season is now complete.

Flowery Branch 9, Pickens 0
Rachel Duden picked up the win for while going 2-for-3 at the plate for the Lady Falcons in a Region 7-AAA tournament play-in game on Monday in Flowery Branch.

Alyssa Jannakos was 3-for-3 and Caitlyn Fowler was 2-for-3 for Flowery Branch (17-18). Jessica Harper hit a three-run homer run and Allison Thompson added a two-run triple for the Lady Falcons.

Flowery Branch plays Lumpkin County at 4:30 p.m. today, then either the winner of East Hall vs. West Hall in the winners' bracket or the loser in the losers' bracket at 6 p.m.

White County 15, Johnson 0
Callie McDonald earned the win for the Lady Warriors and allowed only three hits in a Region 7-AAA tournament play-in game on Monday in Cleveland.

Morgan Jacobsen had two doubles for White County (22-5). Stephanie Satterfield added a double.

White County plays West Forsyth at 4:30 p.m. today, then either the winner of Creekview vs. Gainesville in the winners' bracket or the loser in the losers' bracket at 6 p.m. Johnson's (0-20) season is now complete.

North Georgia Christian sweeps on the road
The Lady Chargers shut out Barrow County Christian (25-12, 25-19, 25-9) on Monday night in Winder.

Hannah Parker had nine kills and two aces, and Katherine Dunlap had four aces and seven kills for North Georgia Christian.

North Georgia Christian visits Forsyth Christian 5 p.m. Thursday.
