Riverside rocks John Milledge

Riverside Military Academy won its second consecutive game, beating John Milledge Academy 35-7 Friday night at Maginnis Field in Gainesville.

Riverside Military Academy quarterback Bill Dearybury connected with Eagles' (4-3, 1-0 GISA Class AAA North) receiver Conner Cuevas on a 26-yard touchdown pass on Riverside's second offensive possession of the game.

Toby McClure added a 2-yard touchdown run in the first quarter to give Riverside an early 14-0 lead. Tersoo Uhaa added a 15-yard run in the second quarter, which gave the Eagles a three-touchdown lead entering halftime.

"The defense played really well tonight," Riverside coach Chris Lancaster said. "They gave up one long touchdown play, but other than that, they played great."

Riverside visits Central Fellowship at 8 p.m. Saturday.
