The North Hall High volleyball team defeated Tallulah Falls 2-0 (31-29, 25-10) and Buford 2-0 (25-16, 25-17) Monday night in Buford.
In the Lady Trojans’ (21-7, 6-1 Region 7-AAA) first match, junior Katherine Filchak led North Hall with eight kills. Junior Kelsey Marlatt added seven. Senior Jennifer Morris led the Lady Trojans offense with 13 assists.
Ansley Roper led Buford with 25 assists, while Hallye Jerkins contributed 11 kills.
Senior Caroline Coker led North Hall in its second match with 12 kills. Sara Anne McCoun added 10 assists.
In Buford’s 2-1 (25-8, 23-25, 25-10) win against Tallulah Falls, Sara Dempsey led the Buford defense with eight digs.
North Hall visits Gilmer at 5 p.m. today. Buford visits North Gwinnett at 5 p.m. Thursday.
