Five Lakeview Academy players and four Jefferson players were named to the 2008 8-A All-Region tennis teams, as selected by the region’s conferences.

Nekhil Patel (first team), Mike Fowler (second team) and James Marks (honorable mention) represented the Lakeview boys, while Blair Bluffington (first team) and Sky Porter (second team) made the team for Jefferson’s boys.

Jefferson’s Callie Holloway and Jessica Johnson made the girls first team. For the Lakeview girls, Nancy Lewallen was named to the first team and Niki Patel made the second team.
