Class AA’s No. 2-ranked Buford High softball team (29-6-1) will play Savannah Christian (24-6) at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Columbus Softball Complex in Columbus.

The Lady Wolves, who defeated Morgan County 2-1, Rockmart 4-3 and Calhoun 5-3, advance to the Elite Eight as the No. 2 seed from Region 6-AA. Top-ranked Greater Atlanta Christian is the region’s No. 1 seed.
