Falcons get win over Buford
Flowery Branch defeated Buford 8-1 on Saturday in the Flowery Branch Invitational Tournament. The game was shortened to five innings because of time limit.
Flowery Branch (2-0) scored two runs in the first on only one hit. Travis Coxworth drew a walk with the bases loaded and Jordan Wilson was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to score the two runs.
East Hall 11, Lakeview 4
Billy Satterfield went 5 1/3 innings for the Vikings allowing six hits and walking one to get the win. Drew Adams led East Hall (1-1) at the plate going 2-for-4 with three RBIs and an opposite field homerun. Jimmy Beyers was 2-for-4 for the Vikings with two double and two RBIs, Cody Davidson went 1-for-2 with a homerun and Zeb Miller was 1-for-1 with a double and two RBIs.
East Hall returns to action at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday at Parkview.
Habersham 7, North Hall
Jordan Pendley pitched six innings for the Trojans giving up one earned run and five hits while striking out one and giving up a walk.
The Trojans were led offensively by K.J. McCalister who had a single and a triple and scored two runs. North Hall returns to action at 5 p.m. Wednesday when it plays host to North Forsyth.
White County 14, Colquitt 2
Josh Ingram was 2-for-3 with a homreun two runs scored and four RBIs for the Warriors while David Sosebee was 2-for-3 with two doubles. Zach Messmore went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Woodland (Henry County) 4
Kevin Frederick went 4-for-4 at the plate with four runs scored and five RBIs to lead White County on Saturday.
Jesse Brown was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs and Casey Jones went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs.
Bo Medlock got the win for White County which returns to action at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday when it plays host to Franklin County.

Kat Sheridan scored the lone goal on an assist from Oriana Valencia to give the Lady Warriors a win Saturday afternoon in the Fannin County Mountain Madness Tournament.
Goalie Megan Runkle had 12 saves for White County who returns to action at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday when it plays host to Gainesville.
