North Hall girls cross country remains No. 1 in Class AAA

For the third straight week, the North Hall girls cross country team is ranked No. 1 in Class AAA in the Coaches Association Rankings, released Friday. The Lady Trojans finished first in the Hall County championships held Thursday at Riverside Military Academy.

The West Hall girls team also stayed put this week, coming in at No. 3 for the third straight week after a second place finish Thursday.

The North Hall boys team moved up one spot to No. 2, while the West Hall boys remained at No. 5. The Chestatee girls team is ranked No. 6 for the second straight week.

In Class AAAA, Flowery Branch boys remain at No. 7. The Falcons won the Class AAA state championship last season and will race today in the Aubrae Gunderson race at the Conyers International Horse Park.

In Class AA, the Buford girls remain No. 6 for the third straight week, while the boys team makes its first appearance of the season at No. 9. The Lady Dragons of Jefferson are also ranked No. 9, as they have been all season. Also for the third straight week, the Dawson County boys are No. 8 and the Jackson County girls are No. 5.
