Two local softball players make an appearance on the Region 8-A All-Region softball team, as voted on by the region coaches.

Commerce’s Jesica Parkerson and Towns County’s Clair Wilson each made the 12-player roster.

Haley Thompson was voted Player of the Year and Randee Bettis was voted Freshman of the Year. Both Tompson and Bettis were a part of a Prince Avenue Christian team which won Region 8-A and made it to the semifinals of the state tournament.
