Lakeview Academy fell to Area 5-A No. 1 seed Holy Innocents’ 25-18, 25-23, 25-14 in the first round of the Class A state playoffs on Thursday in Atlanta.

Katie White paced Lakeview Academy with 12 digs, seven kills and an ace, and Kaylee McClendon added five blocks and four kills. Shelby Ross recorded seven blocks, three digs and three kills, and Delaney Jarrett had 10 assists and four digs. Katie Gay tallied seven digs, two aces and two kills, and Peaches Shipley added six blocks and three kills for the Lady Lions.
