The Lakeview Academy volleyball team lost to Morgan County 2-1 (22-25, 25-20, 24-26) and Athens Christian 2-0 (18-25, 24-26) in the Area 8-A/AA tournament Thursday in Athens.

The Lady Lions were led by Jamie Nixon with nine kills, Mona Abraham with four kills and Molly Gay with eight assists.

Katie Zottnick recorded six digs for Lakeview (16-19, 9-7 Area 8-A/AA).

With the losses, Lakeview Academy’s season is now complete.
