Despite a 4-3 start to the season, the Buford Lady Wolves remained atop the Class AA gasports.com coaches poll that was released Tuesday.

Buford, which has won the last two Class AA state titles, has been ranked No. 1 since before the 2009 season started.

In the volleyball rankings, Flowery Branch High remains at the No. 8 spot. The Lady Falcons visit Jefferson on Thursday for a tri-match with the Lady Dragons and Lakeview Academy.
