Facing a must-win situation, North Hall defeated Chestatee10-0 in a Region 7-AAA tournament play-in game Monday night in Gainesville.

Megan Rogers pitched a one-hitter through four innings and struck out nine out of the15 batters she faced. Hannah Stevens led North Hall (14-12-2) with a 2-for-3 night at the plate and two RBIs. Kelsey Gibbs finished 3-for-3 with an RBI, while Hope West went 2-for-2 with an RBI. Anna Bower added a hit and three RBIs for North Hall.

The Lady Trojans play the No. 2 seed Pickens at 4:30 p.m. today in the Region 7-AAA Tournament.
