Jefferson sweeps Hebron in regular season finales
Playing a make-up game against Hebron Christian Academy, the Jefferson Lady Dragons ended the regular season on a positive note with a 65-32 win Saturday in Jefferson.
The game against Hebron was a preview of Jefferson’s first-round region playoff game.
The Lady Dragons (15-10, 5-3 Region 8N-A) will face off against Hebron Wednesday in the first round of the region tournament.
Jefferson’s Brittany Crews led all scorers with 17 points and Caroline Adams added 11 points for the Lady Dragons.
Hebron was led by Rachel Duval and Britt Techt, who both scored 14 points.
Jefferson’s first round region playoff game against Hebron is at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart.

Chase Harris scored 12 points to lead Jefferson past Hebron Christian Academy on Saturday night in Jefferson.
Demetri Robinson and Chris Beck each added 11 points for the Dragons (13-12, 6-2 Region 8N-A).
James Floyd led Hebron with 14 points.
Jefferson will play Athens Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday during the first round of the Region 8-A tournament at Prince Avenue Christian School.

Whitefield Academy 74
The Vikings finished up the regular season with a win against Class A Whitefield Academy on Saturday night.
Ken Wise and Trevor Bishop led the Vikings (20-5, 8-1 Region 7A-AAA) with 18 points each, and Tracy Gardner added 14.
East Hall will play the winner of the Lumpkin County-Johnson game at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday during the second round of the Region 7-AAA tournament at West Forsyth.
