The Jefferson High softball team advanced to the Elite Eight with three wins in the Class A softball tournament Friday and Saturday.

Senior pitcher Kimberlee Tolbert led the Lady Dragons with three wins (1.04 ERA). Top batters for Jefferson were; Brittany Smith (.462 batting average), Brianna Caudell (.455), Brittany Crews (.357), Mimi Dubose (.357) and Tolbert (.333).

Jefferson plays No. 4 Savannah Country Day at 4 p.m. Thursday in Columbus.
