Jackson County baseball clinic planned

The Jackson County High baseball camp for first-seventh grade is 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the school’s baseball field and indoor hitting facility. The camp will be instructed by Jackson County coach Tommy Fountain and his assistant coaches. The cost for the camp is $25 per child. The second annual Jackson County Panther Baseball Alumni Game and home run derby will follow the conclusion of the camp. 

The home run derby will take place at 1 p.m.  The entry fee for the game, which begins at 2 p.m., is $20. For more information contact Coach Fountain at or 770-530-8975.
