Buford starting pitcher Justin Glover threw six innings and allowed one run in a 10-2 victory against third-ranked Madison County on Wednesday in Buford.

For the fifth-ranked Wolves (16-3, 9-1 Region 8-AAAA), Austin Wilhite went 3 for 3 with three RBIs. Noah Ledford went 2 for 3 with a home run and three RBIs for Buford, and Griffin Jolliff had a two-run home run.

With the win, the Wolves and Red Raiders finish the season with a two-game split. Madison County won 9-8 on Monday.

On Friday, Buford visits Johnson at 5:55 p.m. in Oakwood.

FLOWERY BRANCH 9, CEDAR SHOALS 0: Cam Holmes had two hits and drove in three runs for the Falcons on Wednesday.

The Falcons scored three runs in the first inning and six runs in the second.

Flowery Branch (7-12-1, 5-9 8-AAAAA) visits Lanier 5:55 p.m. on Friday.
