HS Scoreboard: Lavender tosses complete-game victory as North Hall tops Johnson, 3-0

Dylan Lavender tossed a complete-game, home victory for North Hall in a 3-0 win over Johnson (13-7, 8-3 8-AAAA), giving up three hits and striking out nine.

John Mark Montgomery led the way at the plate with a pair of hits, a run scored and an RBI.

The Trojans visit Johnson Wednesday at 5:55 p.m.

FLOWERY BRANCH 20, CEDAR SHOALS 2: Flowery Branch High’s baseball team picked up a five-inning region victory Monday night in Athens.

The Falcons (6-12-1, 4-9 8-AAAAA) scored nine runs in the fourth inning and 12 different players had a base hit in the contest.

Jackson Harrell picked up the win on the mound for Flowery Branch.

Next, the Falcons host the Jaguars at 5:55 p.m. Wednesday.
