HS Scoreboard: Latty's double in the ninth leads North Hall over previously unbeaten Madison County
Pitchers Corban Meeler and Drew Atha combine for nine scoreless innings in 1-0 win over Red Raiders

Jackson Latty hit a double down the left field line for the game-winning RBI in the top of the ninth for North Hall in a 1-0 victory over previously unbeaten Madison County (9-1) on Friday.

North Hall pitcher Corban Meeler struck out 10 Red Raiders batters in seven innings of work, while allowing five hits. Drew Atha earned the win, allowing one hit with two strikeouts in two scoreless innings on relief for the Trojans.

Madison County pitcher Dylan Gentry had 12 strikeouts in eight innings, no earned runs and two hits allowed.

North Hall (6-4) hosts Madison County on Monday at Jody Davis Field.

FLOWERY BRANCH 5, CLARKE CENTRAL 0: Flowery Branch pitcher Zack Wagner threw a complete game, two-hit shutout with three strikeouts on Friday.

Anthony Grutadaurio had two hits. Kholton Hamann, Dylan Childress and Cory Riley each had a hit, an RBI and a run scored for the Falcons.

Flowery Branch (3-5-1, 1-2 8-AAAAA) visits Clarke Central 5:55 p.m. Monday in Athens.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 1, PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 0: Andrew Miller Bell scored the goal and Ben Eades recorded the shutout with six saves.

Lakeview Academy (4-3, 2-0 8-A) visits West Hall at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Oakwood.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 2, PROVIDENCE CHRISTIAN 0: Carmen Wagner and Meredith Tucker scored the goals for the Lady Lions on Friday.

Goalkeeper Ansley Rochester recorded her fourth shutout of the season.

Lakeview Academy (6-3, 2-0 8-A) visits West Hall at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

HERITAGE GIRLS 2, FLOWERY BRANCH 1: Allyson Lusco scored the lone goal for the Lady Falcons on a pass from Morgan Wadsworth on Friday night.

Flowery Branch visits Cedar Shoals on Tuesday.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY 4, WASHINGTON-WILKES 1: The Eagles were led by Sipho Khoza, Sibu Khoza and Max Meehok in the singles competition. Brayden Lawson\Josue Calderon won in doubles for the Eagles.
