High School Scoreboard: Winters leads East Hall girls basketball past Dawson County

East Hall’s Carly Winters scored 17 points in a 54-48 win against Dawson County on Tuesday in Dawsonville.

Kylah Mize had 15 for the Lady Vikings (15-8, 10-7 Region 7-AAA), while teammate Macy Thomas put up 12 points.

Cadey Ayers had 17 points for Dawson County. Abi Chatham and Kaylee Sticker both had 10 points for the Lady Tigers (8-15, 5-6).

East Hall plays Fannin County at 7 p.m. on Friday in Blue Ridge, while Dawson County hosts Union County at 7 p.m. on Friday in Dawsonville.

DAWSON COUNTY BOYS 81, EAST HALL 73: Dawson County’s Jeremiah Crumley led the way with 21 points in Dawsonville. Joseph Cronan added 17 for the Tigers (12-11, 6-5 Region 7-AAA) while teammate Kane Pelfrey put up 14. Ryan Gallenkamp finished the night with 11 for Dawson County.

East Hall’s leading scorer was Luke Cooper with 26 points. Sedrion Morse finished with 17 for the Vikings (16-7, 9-2 Region 7-AAA), while teammate Makhi Brown chipped in 13 points.

Dawson County faces Union County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Dawsonville.

East Hall visits Fannin County at 7 p.m. on Friday in Blue Ridge.

FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 63, CLARKE CENTRAL 57: Flowery Branch’s Brannon Clark scored 27 points on Tuesday in Flowery Branch. John Mills had 13 for the Falcons (17-5, 6-4 Region 8-AAAAA) while teammate Justin Quick finished the night with 10 points.

Flowery Branch visits Walnut Grove at 7 p.m. on Friday in Walnut Grove.

BUFORD GIRLS 73, WALNUT GROVE 31: Marissa Bruce racked up 23 points for Buford on Tuesday in Buford. Rachel Dobbs put up 18 points for the Lady Wolves (21-2, 11-0 Region 8-AAAAA) while teammate C.J. Johnson put up 13. Zikaya Wright finished the night with 10 for Buford.

Buford visits Johnson at 6 p.m. on Friday in Oakwood.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 88, PUTNAM COUNTY 55: Carl Cleveland posted a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds for Banks County on Tuesday in Homer. Kahmal Wiley also had a double-double performance for the Leopards (18-4, 10-0 Region 8-AA) posting 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Dylan Orr racked up 14 points, 12 rebounds, and six blocks for Banks County. Darius Bonds finished the night with 10 points and three rebounds for the Leopards.

Banks County visits Oglethorpe County at 8:30 p.m. on Friday in Lexington.
