High school scoreboard: Taylor Anne Kelley scores 1,000th career point in North Hall win

North Hall’s Taylor Anne Kelley hit her 1,000th career point in the third quarter to help North Hall pick up a 65-40 win against Region 7-AAA opponent Fannin County on Friday night in Gainesville.

Kelley ended the night with 32 points for the Lady Trojans (12-9, 5-4 region). North Hall’s Sadie Cleveland, who scored her 1,000th point earlier this season against North Forsyth, added eight points and eight rebounds.

North Hall visits Union County at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Blairsville.

NORTH HALL BOYS 72, FANNIN COUNTY BOYS 33: North Hall’s Alden Lewallen had 14 points in Friday’s Region 7-AAA match up. Noah Holman posted 12 points for the Trojans (12-9, 5-4 region), while teammate Griffin Neville finished the night with 10 points.

North Hall plays Union County at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Gainesville

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY GIRLS 75, TOWNS COUNTY GIRLS 43: Hanna Grogan helped Lakeview Academy pick up a Region 8-A win, scoring 27 points Friday night in Hiawassee.

Ryann moody scored 15 points for the Lady Lions (16-4, 8-0 region), while teammate Jackie Allen finished the night with 11 points. Lakeview Academy plays Tallulah Falls at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Tallulah Falls.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BOYS 72, TOWNS COUNTY BOYS 48: Lakeview Academy’s Josh Randolph posted a double-double, racking up 22 points and grabbing 10 rebounds in Friday’s Region 8-A matchup.

Drew Cottrell had 16 points for the Lions (14-5, 9-0 region), while Tre Gober finished the night with 10 points. Evan Pitts grabbed 10 rebounds for Lakeview.

Lakeview Academy plays Tallulah Falls at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Tallulah Falls.

CHESTATEE GIRLS 52, WHITE COUNTY GIRLS 30: Chestatee’s Lindsey Caudell racked up 23 points in Friday night’s Region 7-AAAA game. The Lady War Eagles’ defense held White County to single digits in each of the first two quarters.

Chestatee (18-4, 4-1 region) plays Marist at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Atlanta.

FLOWERY BRANCH BOYS 61, LOGANVILLE 46: Justin Quick posted 16 points for Flowery Branch during Friday’s Region 8-AAAAA meeting. John Mills had 13 points for the Falcons (16-4, 4-3 region), and Myles Janess finished the night with 10 points.

Flowery Branch plays Buford at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in Buford.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 46, MONTICELLO GIRLS 42: Banks County’s Allison Smith put up 11 points in Friday’s Region 8-AA game.

Gabby Kennedy posted seven points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Leopards (12-6, 4-2 region), while Jaycie Bowen had six points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Banks County visits Social Circle at 5:30 p.m. today in Social Circle.

BANKS COUNTY BOYS 70, MONTICELLO BOYS 67: Banks County picked up their 11th straight win in Friday’s Reigion 8-AA meeting.

Dylan Orr posted a double-double for Banks County (14-4, 6-0 region) with 14 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks. Carl Cleveland had 14 points and four boards for the Leopards. Khamal Wiley finished the night with 14 points while teammate Grant Rylee posted 12 points and five rebounds for Banks County.

Banks visits Social Circle at 6:30 p.m. today in Social Circle.

ST. FRANCIS GIRLS 52, BUFORD GIRLS 45: The Lady Wolves (16-1) suffered their first loss of the season going against St. Francis, the No. 1 Single-A Private team.

Buford held Mcdonald’s All-Americans Kasiyahna Kushkituah and Maya Dodson to just eight points apiece. Tory Ozment put up 14 points in the Lady Wolves’ effort, while teammate Mary Walters posted 10 points.

Buford hosts West hall at 4 p.m. today in Buford.
