Gainesville scored five runs over the sixth and seventh inning to come back and defeat Chestatee 6-3 on Monday in Gainesville. Kayla Street struck out seven in the complete-game win and went 1 for 3 at the plate. Anisa Gannon, Tyra Newton, Kara England and Whitney Ledford all also went 1 for 3 for the Lady Red Elephants (5-9).
