The White County High softball team continued its domination of Region 8A-AAA on Tuesday, defeating Franklin County 6-5 in Dahlonega.
With the win, the Lady Warriors improve to 19-4 overall and 9-0 in the subregion.
Stephanie Satterfield (9-3) earned the win from the circle, while hitting a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth inning to give White County the lead.
Aubrie Gstalder went 3-for-3 and Lindsey Whitmire went 2-for-3 with a double for White County, which visits Stephens County at 5 p.m. Thursday.
GAINESVILLE 12, JOHNSON 2 (FIVE INNINGS): Katy Womack threw a complete game with 10 strikeouts to give the Lady Red Elephants the win Tuesday at Lanier Point.
Natalie Allen and Melissa Lattimer each had three RBIs, with Allen adding two hits and Lattimer adding a double for Gainesville, which plays Monroe Area at 5:55 p.m. Thursday at Lanier Point.
BUFORD 5, EAST COWETA 0: Karly Fullem earned her ninth win of the season from the circle as the Lady Wolves won their final regular season game over the No. 6 team from Class AAAAA on Tuesday.
Fullem (9-1) threw her ninth complete game of the season, striking out nine to earn her fifth shutout of the year for Buford (20-4, 4-0 Region 6A-AA).
Lexi Overstreet went 2-for-3 and Melissa Dickie went 1-for-2, with both adding two RBIs. Kallie Case went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored for Buford, which opens play in the Region 6A-AA tournament Thursday against Therrell at 5 p.m. in Buford.

GAINESVILLE SPLITS AT MONROE AREA: Tiarra Hill had eight kills and Anna Walker added six kills and three aces as the Lady Red Elephants defeated Monroe Area 25-7, 25-23 and lost to North Hall 12-25, 14-25 on Tuesday.
Gainesville (6-14, 1-7 Area 8-AAA) visits Lumpkin County at 5 p.m. Thursday.
In the other match of the day, North Hall defeated Monroe Area 25-15, 25-22. Against Gainesville, Kathryn Bell had eight assists, Lauren Gregory had four kills and four digs, MaryKate Rushton had six aces and two kills, McKenna Rushton had three kills and Madison Copeland had four kills for North Hall, which visits Buford for a playdate with Johnson at 5 p.m. Thursday.
BUFORD WINS TWO: The Lady Wolves defeated Providence Christian 25-19, 25-9 and Hebron Christian 25-13, 23-25, 25-14 on Tuesday at Providence Christian.
Maggie Roper had 13 kills, 23 digs and nine aces, Jessica Falletta had 13 kills and 16 digs, Jenna Falletta had 23 assists and Liz Darden had 31 digs on the day for Buford (34-7, 5-1 Area 6-A/AA), which plays host to a playdate with North Hall and Johnson at 5 p.m. Thursday.
FLOWERY BRANCH WINS TWO AT HOME: The Lady Falcons defeated Forsyth Central 25-17, 25-22 and Madison County 25-13, 25-19 on Tuesday.
Alexi Love had 13 kills, Katherine McMillin had 12 kills and Brittani Hill had 27 assists on the day for Flowery Branch (17-8, 8-1 Area 8-AAAA).
Against Madison County, Becky Benton had five kills and Amber Merchant had six aces for the Lady Falcons, who play at Heritage at 5 p.m. Thursday.
WEST HALL SPLITS AT OCONEE COUNTY: The Lady Spartans defeated Eastside 25-23, 25-18 and lost to Oconee County 15-25, 12-25 on Thursday in Watkinsville.
Laykin Herford had 18 assists, six aces and two kills, LaNiesha Kearse had eight kills and two blocks, and Nicolette Ashley had 17 digs, five aces and a kill on the day for West Hall (19-13, 3-4 Area 8-AAA).
Against Oconee County, Tanya Bennett had three kills and two blocks for West Hall, which visits Madison County for a playdate with Clarke Central at 5 p.m. Thursday.
