Emily Crocker’s no-hitter led Buford to an 11-0 win against North Hall on Tuesday in Buford.
Crocker (3-0) struck out four over five innings, and a walk in the second inning was the only miscue preventing the Lady Wolves (13-1, 6-0 Region 7-AAA) from having a perfect game.
Remington Hasty paced the Buford offense with a double, three RBIs and a run scored in a 1-for-3 performance. Noah Sudderth went 1 for 2 with a two-run home run for the Lady Wolves in the second inning, and Morgan Walters was 2 for 3 with a double, two RBIs, a pair of runs scored and a stolen base. Tessa Daniels recorded a double, two RBIs and a run scored as well.
Buford visits West Hall at 5:55 p.m. Thursday in Oakwood.
FLOWERY BRANCH 12, RABUN COUNTY 2: Brittany Canavan led the Lady Falcons with a triple, a home run and five RBIs in a 2-for-3 performance on Tuesday in Flowery Branch.
Kelly Kahlert also went 2 for 3 with a home run for Flowery Branch, and Bailey Sims and Lily Parks each finished 3 for 3.
The Lady Falcons visit Salem on Thursday in Conyers.
JEFFERSON SWEEPS DOUBLEHEADER: The Lady Dragons won Game 1 9-4 and Game 2 13-5 on Tuesday in Washington.
In the first game, Erin Jackson went 2 for 4 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs scored for Jefferson (11-4, 7-1 Region 8-AA), and Jordan Phillips tallied two RBIs and two runs scored in a 2-for-3 performance.
Raegan Sandy was 1 for 3 with a two-RBI double and a run scored, and Olivia Husted earned the win pitching with six strikeouts over seven innings.
Caitlin Cantrell earned the win in Game 2 with three strikeouts in six innings.
Arynn Baker led the Lady Dragons’ offense with three RBIs, two doubles and a run scored in a 2-for-3 outing.
Husted hit a two-RBI double in the second game.
Jefferson plays host to Union County on Thursday in Jefferson.
CHESTATEE SWEEPS AT HOME: Tyler Bennett led Chestatee with 17 assists, nine kills and five digs in wins against Lumpkin County (25-10, 25-23) and Lanier (25-16, 25-17) on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Melanie Smith added 10 kills and three blocks for the Lady War Eagles (3-1 Area 8-AAAA), and Grace Brown had seven kills, seven aces and five digs.
Chestatee visits Jefferson on Thursday in Jefferson.
NORTH HALL SPLITS REGION MATCHES: Sydney Cleveland led the Lady Trojans with 14 digs, 10 kills and two blocks in a win against West Hall (25-19, 25-19) and a loss to Blessed Trinity (25-13, 27-25) on Tuesday in Gainesville.
Kristina Gregory added 18 assists and four aces for North Hall, and Makenzie Bryant had 15 digs and five aces.
The Lady Trojans play to the Collins Hill Classic beginning Thursday in Suwanee.
