North Hall’s senior pitcher Megan Rogers had 11 stike outs in her second complete game shutout this week to secure the 1-0 victory against Pickens on Thursday in Jasper.

Tanya Howington led North Hall (11-12-1, 6-6 Region 7-AAA) at the plate with a pair of hits and an RBI.

North Hall begins region tournament play Monday at Lanier Point in Gainesville.

JEFFERSON 4, EAST JACKSON 0: Jefferson ended regular season play with a victory over East Jackson on Thursday in Commerce.

Dragons pitcher Kara Perry got the win in the circle with eight strikeouts and four hits allowed.

Sophomore Paige Pate had a run scored and an RBI for Jefferson (8-10, 3-6 8B-AA). Jordyn Whitfield went 1-for-4 with a run scored, Morgan McKinney went 2-for-4 with a run scored and Catherine Knight went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for Jefferson.

Jefferson begins region tournament play Tuesday.
