High school scoreboard: Riverside Military qualifies six for track state championship meet

Riverside Military Academy’s Charles Dimnwaobi put up state-qualifying performances with a second-place finish in the 200 meter (22.10 seconds), third place in the 100 (11.02), and both relay teams (400 and 1600 relay) at the Class A-private schools state sectionals Saturday in Fairburn.

Jarues Bong Dibongue was fifth in the high jump, Isaac Teasley earned fifth in the 400 (51.48). Antonio Copeland earned a spot to state in the 100 (11.46) for the Eagles.

Also in the 400, Demi Lasisi finished seventh (52.10) from Riverside Military.

Demarko Hooper will be going to state in the 110 hurdles (16.45) and 300 hurdles (42.25).

The Class A private school state championship meet starts May 11 at Valhalla Stadium in Rome.
