Emily Holman singled home Erin Jackson and Jefferson defeated Union County 1-0 in the Region 8-AA Championship on Thursday in Blairsville.
Morgan McKinney was the winning pitcher for the Lady Dragons and recorded 11 strikeouts.
Jordan Phillips and Savannah Snapp each had singles for Jefferson.
The Lady Dragons will play the still-to-be-determined No. 4 seed from Region 5-AA next week.
Sydney Cleveland had 18 kills, five aces, eight digs and a six-point service run for North Hall in wins over Chestatee (25-21, 25-10) and Athens Christian (25-12, 25-10) at Chestatee on Thursday in Gainesville. Allie Staub had 10 digs, nine kills and two aces, and Kristina Gregory had 30 assists, three kills and three aces. Sarah Yoder had nine kills and three blocks.
North Hall faces Buford at St. Pius X on Tuesday in Atlanta.
Madison Dunn had 11 assists, seven kills and three aces for Chestatee as they split the tri-match, beating Athens Christian (25-15, 25-21) and losing to North Hall.
Grace Brown had 11 digs and four kills for the Lady War Eagles, and Christen Watkins had seven kills. Claire Smith had eight digs, and Melanie Smith had 11 kills and two blocks.
Chestatee is seeded third for the Area 8-AAAA tournament at Lanier on Oct. 13 in Sugar Hill.
EAST HALL SWEEPS PAIR: Kara Hix recorded 36 digs, 14 service points, four aces and four kills for East Hall in wins over Jackson County (25-18, 25-16) and Johnson (9-25, 25-21, 25-23) on Thursday in Oakwood.
Brittney Campbell had 22 assists, 21 points on serve, 11 digs, a pair of kills and an ace for the Lady Vikings (24-12, 3-4), and Tarryn Long tallied 15 digs, 14 kills, three service points and two aces. TT Shelton had 16 kills, six assists, seven service points, three digs, two blocks and two aces.
East Hall travels to Monroe Area on Saturday in Monroe.
For Johnson, Lejavian Ratliff led the team with 12 kills and eight digs in a win over Jackson County (25-17, 25-11) and the loss to East Hall.
Lindsey Anderson added 10 digs and a pair of kills for the Lady Knights (23-12, 6-1), and Kelly Chande tallied nine assists and five aces. Savannah Turk had seven digs, three kills and a pair of aces, and Karis Sloan had six kills and two blocks.
Johnson travels to Lanier for the Area 8-AAAA Tournament on Oct. 13 in Sugar Hill.
JEFFERSON WINS TWO AT HOME: Sarah Wood recorded 25 kills, five digs and three aces for Jefferson in wins over Cedar Shoals (25-7, 25-10) and Lakeview (26-24, 25-15) on Thursday in Jefferson.
Grace Williamson had 22 assists and five aces for the Lady Dragons (28-13) and Paige Watson added 17 assists and four aces. Amanda Flowers had 13 kills and eight aces.
Jefferson faces Greater Atlanta Christian in the 6-AA Area Tournament at Rabun County on Tuesday in Tiger.
For Lakeview, Katie Gay had 15 aces and eight kills on the night in the loss to Jefferson and a win over Cedar Shoals (22-25, 25-9, 25-6).
Shelby Ross had six kills and seven aces, and Bailey Towles added 10 assists, five kills and six aces.
GAINESVILLE SWEEPS TRI-MATCH: Anna Walker had 22 service points, 20 kills and seven aces for Gainesville in wins over North Oconee (25-27, 25-18, 25-12) and Hart County (26-24, 25-8) on Thursday in Hartwell. Kaylin Walden added 48 assists and 19 service points for the Lady Red Elephants (29-9, 7-1) and Laura Beth Lorentz had 23 service points and five blocks. Stasha Hopkins tallied 21 kills and Lauren Carter had 13 digs.
Gainesville faces Winder-Barrow at the Region 8-AAAAA Tournament at Flowery Branch on Oct. 13 in Flowery Branch.
NORTH GEORGIA CHRISTIAN TAKES TWO: The North Georgia Christian Lady Chargers swept the Maranatha Christian Lady Eagles on Thursday 25-6, 25-14, 22-25 and 25-14 for the first match and 25-16, 25-22 and 25-15 in the second.
Morgan Johnson served for 30 points and had 12 aces. Nicole Ball added 17 kills, and Taylor Stewart served for 17 points with seven aces.
The Lady Chargers will travel to Praise Academy on Monday in Powder Springs.
