The Jefferson Dragons defeated White County, Lumpkin County, Central Gwinnett, Flowery Branch and Dawson County to capture first place Saturday at the Spartan Slam wrestling tournament at West Hall. Flowery Branch defeated Dawson County to take second place after beating West Hall, Lovett and Alpharetta. For Jefferson, Jace McColskey led the way with five pins, followed by Mitchell McGhee, Chase Piperato, Jack Dollar, and Zach Rhymer with four.
