The North Georgia Christian volleyball team defeated Heritage Academy 3-1 (25-21, 20-25, 25-23, 25-14) on Wednesday in Gainesville.

Hannah Parker had five kills and three aces for the Lady Chargers. Katherine Dunlap had 15 assists, seven aces and one kill and Stephanie McCardel added four kills.

Habersham Central sweeps at home (Tuesday)

The Lady Raiders won their fifth straight matches with 2-0 wins against Hart County (25-21, 25-20) and Apalachee (25-19, 25-19) on Tuesday in Mount Airy.

Jaclyn Campbell had 16 kills, four digs and one assist for Habersham Central (16-2, 5-1 Area 8N-AAAA). Julia Heimberger had 11 kills and one block, Chelsea Smith had eight kills and one block and Haley White added 24 assists for the Lady Raiders.

Habersham Central faces Monroe Area and North Oconee in a tri-match at 6 p.m. tonight in Monroe.

Flowery Branch earns two region wins (Tuesday)

The Lady Falcons picked up two region wins against East Hall and West Forsyth on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Flowery Branch (22-8, 4-1 Area 7-AAA) plays host to Berkmar and Meadowcreek at 5 p.m. today. East Hall (5-14, 0-3 Area 7-AAA) faces Winder-Barrow and Rockdale County at 5 p.m. today in Winder.
