Kevin Clifford went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two doubles and a triple to lead the Chestatee baseball team to 12-6 victory against Johnson on Wednesday at War Eagles Field.

Rafael Mendoza went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and two doubles for Chestatee (8-1, 3-1 Region 7-AAA).

Zack Sweet pitched a complete game, giving up four hits while striking out five for Chestatee, which visits North Hall at 7 p.m. Friday. Johnson travels to Lambert at 5:55 p.m.

WHITE COUNTY 10, WEST HALL 4:
Adam Hooper went 3-for-4 with a home run, double, two runs scored and three RBIs to lead the Warriors to the win Wednesday in Cleveland.

Marcus Rider was 2-for-2 with three runs scored and two RBIs for White County (10-1, 5-0 Region 7-AAA).

Max Everett had a home run for West Hall, which visits Flowery Branch at 5:55 p.m. Friday. White County plays host to Lumpkin County at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 11, MOUNT PISGAH 7:
Taylor Simpson had a three-run home run and senior Ralston Cash had a two-run home run for the Lions on Wednesday in Alpharetta.

Ross Biegler went 2-3 with three RBIs at the plate for Lakeview Academy (10-2, 5-0 Region 8-A). The Lions visit Towns County at 5 p.m. today.

GILMER 1, FLOWERY BRANCH 0:
Cory Sanderson and C.J. Navin each had hits for Flowery Branch (0-11, 0-5 Region 7-AAA) on Wednesday in Ellijay.

Flowery Branch plays host to West Hall at 5:55 p.m. Friday.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 86, NORTH FORSYTH 97:
Camryn Cole carded a 37 to lead the Lady Red Elephants in a win Wednesday at Hampton Golf Village.

Lila Cooley shot a 49 for Gainesville, who plays West Forsyth and North Hall at 4 p.m. today at the Polo Fields in Cumming.

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 1, CHESTATEE 0:
Raquel Castillo had the only goal of the game on Wednesday at City Park for the Lady Red Elephants (6-3, 3-3 Region 7-AAA).

Hong Tran had nine saves in goal for Gainesville, which visits Flowery Branch at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 6, CHESTATEE 1:
Russ Puckett had a hat trick for the Red Elephants on Wednesday at City Park.

Charlie Bryant, Alberto Murrillo and Carlos Sanchez each scored a goal for Gainesville (8-0, 5-0 Region 7-AAA).

The Red Elephants visit Flowery Branch at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Lindsay Porter, Cassidy Elrod and Alex Lee each scored for the Lady Flacons on Tuesday in Dahlonega.

Flowery Branch (5-5, 2-2, Region 7-AAA) which had 30 shots on goal in the game, plays host to Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

RIVERSIDE MILITARY 10, ST. FRANCIS 0 (TUESDAY): Adam Stokes, Pape Ndiaye and Luis Rodriguez each scored two goals on Wednesday in Alpharetta.

Clint Hawkins, Nicholas Bested, Seung Hyun Kang, and Sae Son each had one goal for the Eagles (5-2-1, 1-0 Region 8-AA).

Riverside Military plays host to East Jackson at 4 p.m. today.

Flowery Branch singles player Luke Smith and the doubles teams of Coulter Birch/Jake Jacobs and Christopher Hedden/Anthony Monacella each won for the Falcons on Wednesday in a pro-rated match in Flowery Branch.

The Falcons (2-10, 1-8 Region 7-AAA) play host to East Hall at 4 this afternoon.

FLOWERY BRANCH GIRLS 5, CENTRAL GWINNETT 0: Anna Kate Shaw, Elizabeth Mallory and Morgan Reed won in singles for the Lady Falcons on Wednesday. Molly Smith/Nicki Price and Dani Taylor/Lindsey Shaw picked up the win in doubles for Flowery Branch.

VEAZIE LEADS EAGLES TO THIRD PLACE FINISH (TUESDAY)
: With wins in the 100 and 200-meter, Veazie led Riverside Military to a third place finish in a meet with North Oconee, Athens Academy, Banks County and Prince Avenue in Watkinsville.

Hyung Seok Oh won the 300 hurdles with a personal record of 40.72 seconds, Stephen Pluhar won the 400-meter race with a personal record of 52.6, and Zach Anderson won the 110 hurdles for the Eagles who visit East Jackson for a meet at 4 p.m. March 30.
