Samuel Palmer netted four goals to lead the Riverside Military Academy soccer team to an 8-0 win against Strong Rock Christian on Tuesday in Locust Grove.

Marvin Gonzalez, Michael Ajufo, Shinwook Park and Javier Carus also scored for the Eagles (6-2).

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 5, LANIER 2: Kate Bush got the Lady Red Elephants off to a fast start with two goals in the opening 15 minutes of Tuesday night’s game in Sugar Hill.

Caroline Nabb tallied two more goals in the last five minutes of the first half for Gainesville (7-1, 4-0 Region 8-AAAAA). Alyssa Turner closed out scoring with a second-half goal.

The Lady Red Elephants play host to Salem on Friday at City Park.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 6, LANIER 0: Diego Porras and Eric Bonilla each recorded two goals and one assist for the Red Elephants on Tuesday in Sugar Hill.

Christian Ochoa and Jose Sandoval also scored for Gainesville (6-3). Cesar Saucedo, Jose Ortiz, Omar Perez and Esteban Bautista all contributed assists.

Chandler Staton and Sergio Mondragon combined for the shutout in goal.

The Red Elephants play host to Salem on Friday at City Park.

WEST HALL BOYS 5, LUMPKIN COUNTY 1: Ramsis Martinez notched a pair of goals for the Spartans on Tuesday in Oakwood.

Richie Castruita, Isaac Castruita and Sammy Coto also scored for West Hall (5-1-2). Cesar Villa contributed two assists, and Steve Rodriguez, Eduardo Magana and Simon Cobian finished with assists.

The Spartans visit Dawson County on Tuesday in Dawsonville.

EAST HALL BOYS 5, RABUN COUNTY 1: Leo Toledo’s hat trick led the Vikings on Tuesday in Gainesville.

Oscar Gonzalez had a goal and two assists for East Hall (6-3-1), and Sherman Lucero netted a goal. Carlos Castrejon and Victor Adame each had assists.

The Vikings visit Franklin County on Friday in Carnesville.

RABUN COUNTY 2, RIVERSIDE MILITARY 1: Will Lovett scored the lone run for the Eagles on Tuesday in Tiger.

Ben Walker struck out eight on the mound for Riverside Military.

OCONEE COUNTY 4, JEFFERSON 0: Hunter Thompson and Taylor Wilkes recorded hits for the Dragons on Tuesday in Jefferson.

Micah Carpenter struck out five in the loss.

Jefferson visits Oconee County for a doubleheader on Friday.

Tennis

GAINESVILLE GIRLS 5, WINDER-BARROW 0: Josey Evert won 6-0, 6-0 for the Lady Red Elephants on Tuesday.

Haley Frankum and Katherine Wright also won singles matches for Gainesville. Georgia Summer/Madi Kiser and Paige Ackerman/Ali Waggoner earned doubles wins.

The Red Elephants play host to Cedar Shoals on Thursday at Longwood Park.

GAINESVILLE BOYS 5, WINDER-BARROW 0: The Red Elephants won in straight sets in every match on Tuesday.

Graham McKinnon, Jeffery Kiser and Jackson Fox all won at singles. Reagan Williams/Edward Belch and Roan Thompson/Trevor Munn earned doubles wins.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY BEATS EAST HALL: John Jacobs and Gabe McConnell shot a pair of 38s to lead Lakeview over East Hall.

WEST HALL GIRLS 164, CHESTATEE 181: Delaney Smith led the Lady Spartans with a 43 on Tuesday at Chicopee woods.
