Chestatee’s Sean Irick and Joe Sutton combined for two hits and four RBIs.

JEFFERSON 10, EAST JACKSON 0 (5 INNINGS): Jefferson’s Taylor Wilkes was the winning pitcher, allowing one hit with nine strikeouts and one walk on Tuesday.

Taylor Wilkes went 3 for 3 with a solo home run. Will Breese went 3 for 4 with two RBIs, Caleb Chandler went 1 for 3 with two RBIs and Joshua Hutch hit a bases-loaded triple to finish 1 for 3 with three RBIs.

Jefferson (10-3, 6-1 8-AAA) visits East Jackson for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m. on Friday.

BANKS COUNTY GIRLS 144, HABERSHAM CENTRAL 165: Banks County senior Morgan Rylee was low medalist with a 40. Lauren Shubert shot a 51 and Andrea Harris carded a 53 on Tuesday at Chimney Oaks Golf Course.
